A Miele is almost always worth repairing. These appliances are expensive to buy and built to last for decades. Parts stay available for up to 15 years after production, so even an appliance of 10 to 15 years old can still be repaired. On this brand a repair is usually far better value than a new machine.
We are an independent repair service for Miele, not an official service point for the brand. The diagnosis at home costs €69. If you decide not to have the repair done, that is all you pay. If you go ahead, the total never exceeds €179, however long the technician needs.

A technician establishes the cause of the fault at your home. If you then decide against the repair, this €69 is all you pay.
If the technician can repair it, you pay €110. No time limit, and even a second visit is included.
You never pay more than €179 for the repair itself. Parts are charged separately and the technician tells you that price in advance.
Need it urgently? With Chrono you choose the next available morning or afternoon, or a visit in the evening or at the weekend. That costs €50 extra, so €229 maximum.
Another broken appliance in the house? We repair it during the same visit for €80 extra.

Common Miele faults we repair
Miele washing machine
The classics are F20 for a heating fault, F11 when the water is not drained, F10 for a blocked water supply, F50 for a fault in the drum drive and F138 when the Waterproof system detects water in the drip tray. The full explanation per code is on our page Miele washing machine repair.
Miele dishwasher
Dishes that no longer come out clean usually point to a blocked spray arm or filter. Water left standing points to the drain pump. Clean the filter at the bottom of the tub first and check that the spray arms turn freely. If the problem stays, the technician looks at the pump and the control board.
Miele tumble dryer
F66 means the plinth filter in front of the heat exchanger is clogged. Open the flap, pull the plinth filter out by the handle, rinse it and let it dry completely. A wet filter triggers the fault again straight away. F55 means the laundry is still not dry after the maximum drying time of 180 minutes. That is not a defect but one of four causes: an overloaded drum, laundry that is too wet, clogged lint filters, or laundry that was not spun enough.
Display messages on a Miele tumble dryer
Air Ducts Clean points to clogged filters. Empty Reservoir means the condensation reservoir is full, or the drain hose is kinked. For Technical fault, first switch the appliance off and on again, then clean all filters thoroughly. If the message stays, it is work for a technician.
Miele oven and hob
On ovens the heating element or the temperature sensor is the usual suspect, sometimes the fan. On induction hobs a single zone often fails while the rest keeps working, which points to the power module.

Where we can, we use original Miele parts. For some common parts there is an equivalent of the same quality that is available faster. The technician tells you in advance which part is needed and what it costs, so you can choose.
Fixed price, even when it takes longer
A technician paid by the hour has an interest in staying long. With us the price is fixed up front, so our technician has an interest in getting it right first time. If the repair runs over, your invoice does not change.

First switch the appliance off and on again, because some of these messages clear after a reset. If the message stays, clean all the filters thoroughly. On a dryer that is the lint filter and the plinth filter, on a washing machine the filter at the bottom left behind the flap. If the problem stays, it is a real fault and the technician will need the error code.
