How Repairdoctors, a project by We.repair, handles your personal data.

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy has been drafted to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian law of 30 July 2018 on the protection of personal data.

Repairdoctors.be is a project by We.repair BV, with registered office at Schaarbeeklei 636, 1800 Vilvoorde, Belgium, registered with the CBE under number BE1022516887 ("we.repair", "we", "us"). We.repair BV is the data controller for personal data processed through this website.

You can contact us at Schaarbeeklei 636, 1800 Vilvoorde, or by email at privacy@we.repair. We have appointed a Data Protection Officer, reachable at the same email address.

This website does not contain a form for submitting personal data. We do process data in the following cases:

When visiting this website: your IP address, location data, browser data, operating system, the duration of your visit, the pages you visited and the links you click on, collected through cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

When contacting us by email: if you send us a message, for example a job application via hello@we.repair, we process the data you share yourself, such as your name, email address and the content of your message.

When booking a repair: this happens through We.repair’s booking page at booking.werepair.be. There you provide data such as your name, address, phone number, email address and information about your appliance. This data is processed under We.repair’s privacy policy, available at werepair.be/privacy.

We use your personal data to respond to your enquiry or application, to manage, secure and improve this website, and to analyse website visits with a view to improving our services. This is based on our legitimate interest. Where legally required, we process data to comply with our legal obligations.

We.repair does not sell, rent or distribute your personal data to third parties. Your data may be shared with suppliers of analytics and hosting tools that help us manage this website, and with We.repair BV itself for the follow-up of bookings made through booking.werepair.be.

We do not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which we collected it. Data from email contact is kept for a maximum of 6 months after your enquiry has been handled, unless a longer retention period is legally required. For data collected through cookies, please refer to this website’s cookie settings.

You have the right to access the personal data we process about you, as well as the right to have it corrected, deleted or its processing restricted. You also have the right to object to the processing, and the right to data portability for data you provided to us yourself. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You can exercise these rights via privacy@we.repair.

If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal data, contact us via privacy@we.repair. You can also contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be. This does not affect your right to bring proceedings before a civil court.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, alteration or unauthorised access.
