A smart investment

A repair extends the life of your appliance by 4 to 6 years on average. In most cases repair is not expensive, it is a good investment.

Europe is on your side

European legislation is making repair easier and easier. You are joining a movement that is already under way.

Right to repair: the law is on your side

In June 2024 the European Parliament voted the right to repair legislation. In the coming years repair must become more accessible, and the rules take effect in the member states between 2025 and 2026. This fits Europe's goal of achieving a fully circular economy by 2050. A first result is the repairability index: a score out of 10 showing how repairable an appliance is. Since 2 May 2025 it has been mandatory in Belgium for new appliances. Of the household appliances we repair, it currently applies only to dishwashers. We.repair welcomes this and is happy to guide you on the repairability of your appliance.
